My name is Nicole Chen, and I'm this year's 2025 CS51 Patel Fellow :) I'll be providing up to 12 hours of one-on-one tutoring per week this semester, so feel free to indicate your interest in this form throughout the semester for any specific topics that you'd like to have some supplemental one-on-one tutoring with! These meetings will generally be 45 minutes where we can go over lecture materials, section notes, and rarely pset questions.

These sessions are intended on top of normal class resources (office hours, section, etc.) so be sure to attend these first before signing up!

The Process

  1. Fill out the Patel Meeting Form below to indicate interest (below)! You can fill this out multiple times (just not in the same week)! This includes providing me some background on what you’ve done in the course, informing me on what topics you’re most struggling with, and providing me with some basic contact information!
  2. Depending on my availability, how you’re feeling about the class, what you’ve done, and demand, I’ll reach out to you via email with a Calendly link for you to book an appointment with me for our one-on-one tutoring session.
  3. I’d love to get your feedback and also a recap after each one of our sessions. Under Resources, you’ll find a Calendar where you can read up on notes that we took during your meeting slot as well as actionables. These are all anonymized.
  4. I’m planning on updating this site as we go with some of my old notes that I took in this class as well as some resources that I’d love to share with you all! Feel free to take a look at them down in the Resources section before/after each of our meetings!
